  • No need to commit to a specific day and time. Use our flexible monthly membership to reserve and attend classes each week whenever works best for you and your family.

  • Learning self-defence is like learning to swim. You may feel comfortable treading water after a few months in the pool. But it’s often a while until you can confidently swim laps.

You will need to put in the time to confidently master life-saving self-defence skills. Students often hit this confidence point after a year of consistent training (2 - 3x/week) or two years (1x/week).

  • Throughout your training, you'll earn belts to mark your rank as you progress in skill level.

Attendance, attitude, technique, and time, are the primary factors that influence your progress through the ranks.

Krav Maga & BJJ belt gradings are conducted separately 2x/year. And our totally free. We don’t like hidden fees and figured you wouldn’t either.

  • We are closed on statutory holidays, long weekends, and Jewish High Holidays and Festivals.

BJJ Competition Days: When our team competes, we do not run classes as we are there to coach and support. Many students join us at the tournaments to do the same!

  • 99% of children do better with a drop-off/pickup. What often works well is if you come 10 minutes early to pick them up so you can watch their skill once they are comfortable and focused!

  • We know that life is unpredictable, and sometimes your routine gets shaken up. For this reason, we provide you the option to ‘press pause’ on your membership. You can pause up to one time per membership period. When you pause your membership, the ‘clock stops ticking’ on your membership period. Pauses can last between 2 and 8 weeks. We strongly encourage you to use membership pauses in the event of any injury.

To start a pause, email houseofcombat@gmail.com, notifying House of Combat about the start date and the duration of the pause. After your pause is complete, the membership term will start again. It’s that simple!

  • To request cancellation of your membership, please email houseofcombat@gmail.com
